Seaway Plastics Engineering appoints Jeffrey Cox as new director of tooling

Seaway Plastics Engineering has announced the hiring of Jeffrey Cox, who will join the Seaway team as the director of tooling operations.

In this role, Cox will continue to build upon Seaway's deep experience with injection mold tooling.  Cox will develop safe, streamlined processes on all tooling to produce the highest quality parts with the efficiency Seaway is known for.

Upon accepting the position, Mr. Cox noted, "I'm looking forward to creating a team that maximizes department effectiveness while still fully complimenting the additional Seaway departments and vision. I am very happy to play a part in creating a team that will significantly contribute to Seaway Plastics success."

Cox brings with him 37 years of experience in the tooling and mold building industry.  He also successfully completed the US government Department of Labor apprenticeship.  It is a 4 year program that requires 8,000 hours of training & 4 years of night school. 

Seaway Plastics Engineering LLC is a full service plastic injection molding company specializing in prototype injection molding, low volume production and mold making. The company is headquartered in the Tampa Bay/Clearwater Beach area. 

The company has two manufacturing locations in Port Richey and Brooksville, Florida.  Employing 160, Seaway strives to provide technology leadership and performance excellence in Medical, Aerospace, Military, Packaging, Food Service, Industrial and Consumer products.
