Mauser Group signs agreement with Brazilian company
German producer of industrial packaging Mauser Group has signed a reconditioning joint venture (JV) agreement with Bressan Inovações Ambientais in Brazil. The partnership allows Mauser to expand its reconditioning activities in the South of Brazil.
The cooperation with Mauser and its subsidiary National Container Group (NCG) is set to start in May 2012. The JV will offer washed, rebottled, trip-leased, and laundered Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) as well as Mauser's 'Total Recollect' services that include a recollection of different packaging solutions, to the customers.
NCG Tankpool, the Brazilian NCG subsidiary director Ricardo Goldenberg said expansion of the reconditioning activities in the Brazil is in line with Mauser's strategy to help customers combine economy with ecology.
The JV helps customers to benefit from advanced packaging solutions through the synergies between Bressan, Mauser and NCG Tankpool and will also allow them to gain profit from rebottling services.
Mauser/NCG opened a new factory building in Brazil in September 2011 to recycle materials that will be used as PCR for producing new packaging solutions.
